We stayed here for 4 days in late September '23. We absolutely loved this place (with one exception). Best possible location across the street from Council Square. Vintage yet well appointed rooms with all kinds of amenities. Great breakfast in which we gorged. Best part was the staff who were super friendly and fun to interact with. Provide great info for tourists.
The downside, no blame to the hotel, is an ultra loud dog on the other side of the courtyard wall. We never actually saw the dog but we were rocked out of our beds at 5AM every day. Throughout the day this dog made sure we couldn't relax. Real shame to a great hotel. I wanted to give this hotel 5-stars but the dog ate one...

Super location, easy walk to everything in central Brasov, lots of restaurants, cafes, etc, nearby, even a bus stop to get you to the train station. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. In the bathroom, there was no shower curtain so water was all over the floor after showering. Also, the rooms on the ground floor overlook the "courtyard", which is really just a hallway. There is no view, and no light, and other guests will pass by your window, or sit outside and talk/smoke. Although it was quiet while I was visiting, I could see this potentailly being noisy. Breakfast was ok, recommend going early because seating seemed limited.
